Retrieving Codes Using Multi-Use Tester (MUT)

1. Connect Multi-Use Tester (MB991341 ) with ROM Pack (MB991359 ) to ECS self-diagnostic connector, located below driver side of dash, and to cigarette lighter. See Fig 1. Refer to manufacturer's instructions for MUT operation, and check for self-diagnostic (trouble) codes.
2. Record trouble codes. See Fig 2. If 2 or more trouble codes are stored, lowest number code will be indicated first. Proceed to appropriate CODE test under TESTING & DIAGNOSIS for diagnosis and servicing procedure.
