Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Disconnect ECS control unit harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between harness connector terminal No. 52 (Black wire) and ground. See Figure.
  2. If continuity is present, ground circuit is okay. If continuity is not present, repair Black wire between ECS control unit harness connector and ground connection on chassis below rear glass latch point.
