Removal & Installation (Colt, Colt 200, Colt Vista, Expo/Expo LRV, Mirage, Summit & Summit Wagon)
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove rear hub (dust) cap and nut. See Figure. On type No. 1 drums, remove outer wheel bearing and hub/brake drum assembly. On type No. 2 drums, remove brake drum and hub assembly. On both brake types, press inner bearing and race out of hub assembly.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Press inner bearing and seal into hub assembly. Tighten wheel bearing nut to specification. See WHEEL BEARING NUT SPECIFICATIONS table. Rotate brake drum to ensure free movement.
