Front Disc Brake Rotor (Mirage): Installation

  1. Using Bolt (MB990998), install hub and rotor assembly into knuckle. Tighten bolt to 144-188 ft. lbs. (196-256 N.m). Rotate hub to seat bearings.
  2. Measure hub starting torque and wheel bearing end play. Starting torque should be 11 INCH lbs. (1.3 N.m) on 2WD models, or 16 INCH lbs. (1.8 N.m) or greater on 4WD models. End play should be .008" (.20 mm) or less. If end play is not within specification, check for correct installation of hub. On all models, reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
