Rear Disc Brake Caliper: Reassembly

  1. Lightly coat piston seal and piston with lubricant. Slide piston and seal into place while preventing seal distortion. Lubricate boot, and slide boot into position. Ensure boot engages groove in cylinder bore. Coat automatic adjuster seal with recommended grease.
  2. Fit adjuster spindle and hardware in place until spindle turns freely. Ensure spring faces proper direction. Fit automatic adjuster spindle into place.
  3. Insert connecting link and lever assembly. Fill lever cap with repair kit grease (Orange), ensuring all areas have ample grease. Thoroughly clean caliper sliding surface. Reverse disassembly procedure to complete reassembly.
