Installation (2.0L DOHC)

  1. Lubricate all bearing and journal surfaces with oil. Install rear bearing using Bearing Installer (MB990938), Guide Plate (MD998374) and Installer (MD998373-01).
  2. Using Bearing Driver (MB990938-01) and Adapter (MD998373-01), install front bearings. Ensure oil hole in bearing aligns with oil hole in cylinder block.
NOTE: The left rear bearing does not have oil hole.
