Removal (Precis 1.5L)

  1. Jet valves are small valves located next to intake valves. Remove rocker arm shaft assemblies. See ROCKER ARM SHAFT ASSEMBLY under VALVES.
  2. Using Jet Valve Socket (MD998310), remove jet valve assembly from cylinder head. Ensure jet valve socket is not tilted with respect to center of valve when used. If socket is tilted, stem may be bent resulting in defective jet valve operation and a broken wrench.
