Installation (Mirage)

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. On all models, ensure arrow (if equipped) on mounting stoppers, located on the bolt of front upper engine mount (near timing belt cover), is facing away from timing belt cover when installed.
  2. With engine installed, install all engine mount bolts loosely. Perform final tightening of mounting bolts and nuts with weight of engine on insulators. Replace all fluids and adjust all control cables and linkages.
CAUTION: Drive axle shaft retainer rings should be replaced whenever drive axle shafts are removed from transaxle.
