Cylinder Head: Installation

  1. Install cylinder head using new gasket with identification mark facing upward. DO NOT apply sealant to head gasket. Install head bolts. Tighten bolts to specification in proper sequence using 2-3 steps. See Figure and Figure .
  2. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Apply sealant to semi-circular packing and rocker cover sealing areas. Apply gasoline to "O" ring on fuel line prior to installing fuel line in delivery pipe. Adjust all control cables.
