Oil Pump & Front Case: Removal

  1. Remove timing belt and crankshaft sprocket. See TIMING BELT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove oil filter, oil pressure switch, oil pan and oil screen.
  2. Remove oil filter bracket, front case and oil pump assembly. Remove plug cap located on the front of the front case. Plug cap can be removed using Plug Cap Wrench (MD998162).
