Removal & Installation

Drain engine oil. Remove oil pan retaining bolts. Using Gasket Cutter (MD998727), cut gasket along sealing surface of cylinder block. Remove oil pan and gasket. To install, apply sealant to oil pan flange at timing chain case and rear seal case areas. Install oil pan and gaskets. Tighten bolts to specification.
