Installation (Galant)
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply Lubriplate to backing plate bosses, adjuster assembly threads, and parking brake lever pin.
- Set adjustment lever all the way back. Assemble brake shoes. Install brake drum. Depress brake pedal to adjust shoe clearance. Adjust parking brake.
- Verify adjuster lever meshes with next tooth of adjuster when pulled, and returns to original position after wheel has moved one tooth. Adjuster assemblies differ between right and left sides.
