Oil Pressure Gauge & Harness Tested At Sending Unit
Disconnect oil pressure gauge wiring connector from gauge inside the engine compartment. Connect a 12-volt test light between terminal No. 1 and ground. Turn ignition on (DO NOT start engine). Test light should flash and gauge needle should deflect. SeeFig 1 . If results are okay, remove instrument cluster from instrument panel, check continuity between terminals of oil pressure gauge. SeeFig 1 . Resistance should be 37-47 ohms.
