Disassembly (Starion)

  1. Remove lock and guide pin bolt. Remove brake pads, shims and clips. Remove caliper support. Remove retaining ring and pull out parking lever assembly. Remove garter spring.
  2. Remove cap ring and retaining ring to take off lever cap. Unscrew automatic adjuster spindle and pull out assembly. Remove piston, piston seal and boot ring. See Fig 1 .
