Brake System

All brake system consists of a master cylinder, vacuum power brake unit, proportioning valve and self adjusting assembly. Pickup and Van/Wagon models have a height sensing proportioning valve. All models are equipped with front disc brakes. Galant and Starion are equipped with rear disc brakes only. All other models are equipped with rear drum brakes. On all Models, the parking brake assembly is operated by rear brake activation.
