Rocker Arm Assembly & Camshaft: Installation

  1. Lubricate camshaft lobes and camshaft bearing journals. Install camshaft to cylinder head. Install rocker arm assembly to cylinder head. Insert camshaft bearing cap bolts and tighten to specification.
  2. Install camshaft sprocket and distributor drive gear to camshaft. Tighten camshaft locking bolt. Adjust valve clearance to specification. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
