Fitting Pistons

Measure cylinder bore and piston skirt diameter. Piston skirt diameter should be measured at a 90 degree angle to piston pin. Clearance between piston and cylinder bore must be within specifications. See PISTONS, PINS, & RINGS table at end of this article. Replace as necessary.
