Jet Valves: Removal

  1. Remove rocker arms and shafts as previously described. Using Jet Valve Socket (MD998310), remove jet valves. Disassemble valve using Spring Pliers (MD998309) to compress spring and remove retainer lock.
  2. Ensure jet valve socket is not tilted with respect to center of valve when used. If wrench is tilted, stem may be bent, resulting in defective valve operation and a broken wrench.
