Jet Valves: Installation

  1. Install new jet valve oil seal using Installer (MD998308). Apply oil to jet valve stem and carefully insert jet valve into body. Ensure valve slides smoothly after installation.
  2. Compress spring and install retainer lock, using care to prevent damaging valve stem. Install "O" ring on jet body. Lubricate "O" ring, jet body threads and seat surface.
  3. Install jet valve assembly hand tight, then tighten to specification using socket. Use care to avoid tilting socket and damaging jet valve assembly.
