Rear Suspension Assembly: Reassembly

Apply grease to inside of left suspension arm and to all outside surfaces of bushings "A" and "B". Using Bushing Drivers (MB990779-01 and MB990780-01), drive bushing "B" in until notch on bar reaches end of suspension arm. Using bushing driver without bar, drive in bushing "A". See Fig 1 .

Install dust cover on right arm. Apply grease to surface of right arm and install rubber stopper. Slowly push right and left suspension arms together and wipe away any excess grease.
If equipped with stabilizer bar, align marks on bar and bracket. Install rubber bushings, fixtures and washers. Ensure toothed side of washer faces bushing.
After aligning fixtures with arm according to alignment marks, tighten nuts. Be sure fixture angle is set at 30°. Pack grease into dust cover and lips, and secure dust cover with clamp.
