Diesel 4WD Pickup

Diesel-powered 4WD pickups use a Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV). On these models, the LSPV, located near the rear wheels, provides 3 functions.

The LSPV responds to vehicle load condition by preventing early lock-up of the front wheels, provides stability during braking, and adds extra fluid pressure control to the rear wheels should the front brake system fail.
