Remove the charge air duct between the exhaust turbocharger and the charge air cooler
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT RIGHT WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Refer to PARTIALLY DETACHING WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL ON LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION WITH THE THRUST FIELD .

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Guide the line (2) out and set it aside.
- Unlock lock (1).
The locking mechanism (1) must engage in the holder (arrow) during unlocking.
- Unlock the pressure tube (1) at the charge air cooler and release.
- Unlock and disengage lock mechanisms (1) on both sides.
- Guide out the pressure tube (2) at the exhaust turbocharger in the direction of the arrow and set aside.
- Slide out pressure pipe (1) in arrow direction and remove.
