Installing the left output shaft at the transmission end

With automatic transmission only:
Lever out the O-ring (1).
Replace O-ring (1).
Parts: O-ring
Insert the new O-ring (1).

Do not mix up the circlips.
Different types of output shafts have been fitted:
- M: mechanical transmission
- A: automatic transmission

Replace the circlip (arrow).

Insert the installation protection ring (1) into the radial shaft seal.
Make sure the tool fits over the lip of the radial shaft seal to avoid damaging the sealing ring when inserting the output shaft.

Insert the output shaft (1) in the transmission.
Manual transmission only: Pull on the handle to remove the installation protection ring (2) and dispose of it.
Slide the output shaft (1) up to the stop in the transmission.
The output shaft (1) must snap-in audibly.
Check for secure seat by levering.
