Guide in and install the VANOS central valve (1) of the intake camshaft adjuster.

Tighten the VANOS central valve (1) of the intake camshaft adjuster hand-tight.

Release the VANOS central valve (1) of the intake camshaft adjuster
in the direction of the arrow
60°.
