Installing the engine on the double-clutch transmission (DKG)
NOTE:

- Orient the double-clutch transmission absolutely levelly during development and installation.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The transmission oil temperature must be between 20 °C and maximum 40 °C!
With the diagnostic system, carry out the "Transmission oil adjustment" service function.
In case of exceeding the oil change by more than 3000 km, the double clutch must also be replaced!
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the double clutch transmission (DCT).

- Position the engine (1) with the engine hoist and the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070)on the lifting table 2 184 136.
- Feed out the engine hoist with the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070)from the engine (1) and push to the
side.
- Check the dowels (1)
for correct seating and damage, replace if necessary.
- Clean drive shaft gearing (1) .
- Grease the gearing (1)
.
The tooth gaps must be filled with grease up to tooth height!
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATIONLubricating grease Ml-Setral-43 N 50 g, Tube 83232152082 - Correct:
Keep the double-clutch transmission (DKG) level while inserting it into the flywheel.
- Incorrect:
Do not tilt the double-clutch transmission (DKG) when inserting it into the flywheel.
- Move the table top (B) in the arrow direction and position the double-clutch transmission (DKG) (1) carefully
on the engine (2)
.
- Keep double-clutch transmission (DCT) completely level when flange-mounting to engine.
- Tighten the screws (arrows).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Transmission to engine M8 Tightening torque 19Nm M12 Tightening torque 66Nm - Connect and lock the coolant lines (1) .
- Make sure that you can hear the coolant lines (1)
engage.
- Loosen the screws (1) from the special tool 2 459012
- Guide the special tool 2 459 012 out and remove.
