84 31 550 Removing and installing/replacing hands-free microphone, driver's side

Special tools required:

00 9 340

Removal:

Lever off microphone cover (1) from headlining (2) with special tool 00 9 340 .

Feed out microphone cover (1) and disconnect associated connector.

Replacement only:

Remount the microphone (1) on the trim (2).

NOTE: Make sure the microphone (1) is correctly fitted in the trim (2).
Note the direction of installation of the microphone (1).

Installation:

Connect connector.

Join microphone cover (1) in headlining (2).

NOTE: Make sure connector is properly locked.
Make sure microphone cover (1) is correctly fitted in headlining (2).
