Grinding cylinder head sealing surface (B38 engine) (Cooper Clubman base)
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove CYLINDER HEAD .
Check evenness of cylinder head sealing surface with a standard straightedge (1).
NOTE:
Max. deviation from flatness (longitudinal) 0.10 mm
Check evenness of cylinder head sealing surface with a standard straightedge (1).
NOTE:
Max. deviation from flatness (transverse) 0.05 mm
Required follow-up work:
- Check CYLINDER HEAD FOR WATERTIGHTNESS .
- Installing the CYLINDER HEAD .
