Tightening the VANOS central valve of the intake adjuster

• To tighten VANOS central valve (1), use reversible ratchet (2) from special tool 0 496 855  with special tool 2 450 487 .

• Tighten the VANOS central valve (1) of the intake camshaft adjuster.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS

VANOS central valve to camshaft
M20x1.5	1. Joining torque	10 Nm
	2. Joining torque	30 Nm
	3. Joining torque	50 Nm
	4. Angle of rotation	35°
