Install the charge air duct between the exhaust turbocharger and the charge air cooler

• Check sealing ring (1) for damage; if necessary, replace sealing ring (1).

Replacing the damaged seal 

• Remove damaged seal.
• Clean the gasket groove (1) with a dry cloth.

  The gasket groove (1) must be clean.

• Replace gasket.

• Install the seal dry without lubricant or mounting agent.

• Thread in seal and install.
• Make sure that the seal is installed correctly in the gasket groove (1).
• Make sure that the sealing lip (2) is directed to the inside as shown.

• Detach locks (1) from the holders in the arrow direction.
• Ensure that locks (1) engage audibly.

• Guide in and install pressure pipe (1) in the arrow direction.

• Feed in and install the pressure pipe (1) at the exhaust turbocharger in the arrow direction.

  The locks (2) must engage audibly.

• Inset and install the pressure pipe (1) on the charge air cooler.
• Ensure that the pressure pipe (1) audibly engages on the charge air cooler.

• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Pressure pipe to oil pan
  M6x35	8 Nm

• Insert and install the line (2).
