Removing the left radial shaft seal on the differential (7DCT300)

CAUTION: Materials harmful to health. 
Contact with fluids harmful to health! 

• Note and follow safety instructions on containers.
• Conduct all work in appropriate personal protective equipment only.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE 
Damage to the transmission. 
Damage to the transmission due to unapproved transmission oil. 

• Use only the approved transmission oil.
• Check the transmission oil level after completing the repair.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
Do not use a drill.
Shavings can damage the transmission and result in failure of the transmission.

• Drive a hole in the radial shaft seal by using the center punch.
• Screw the special tool 0 491 454 (23 0 490)  in the radial shaft seal (1).
• Drive out the radial shaft seal (1) with the impact weight (2).
