Move the engine to the installation position

• Detach and remove front fixtures of adapter 0 496 422 (00 6 030)  .
• Slide the special tool 0 495 904 (00 0 490)  (SWZ number old) or (006150)  (SWZ number new) onto the mount 0 496 422 (00 6 030)  on the left and right.
• Tighten retaining screws.

• Insert and position the special tool 2 459 012  on the cylinder head.
• Tighten the screws (1) of the special tool 2 459 012  .

• Unclip the filler neck (1) from the washer fluid reservoir and set aside.
• Position the special tool 0 495 904 (00 0 490)  as shown on to the side member on the right.

• Position special tool 0 495 904 (00 0 490)  on the left side member as illustrated.

• Mount the special tool 0 490 561 (11 0 000) on the spindle (1).
• Detach spindle (1) up to hook (2) and (3) bring up to the mounting lugs.
• Hook in the special tool 2 459 012  on the mounting lug on the cylinder head at the transmission end.

• Pretension the engine by turning the spindle 2 361 506 (00 6 103)  .
