Removing the engine from the double-clutch transmission (DKG)
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the flywheel and the double-clutch transmission (DCT).
Damage to the flywheel or the double-clutch transmission (DCT) through improper development and installation of the double-clutch transmission.

- Orient the double-clutch transmission absolutely levelly during development and installation.
- Unlock and release coolant line (1).
- Catch and dispose of leakage coolant.
- Correct:
Keep double-clutch transmission (DCT) level while pulling it from flywheel.
- Incorrect:
Pull double-clutch transmission out of flywheel without tilting.
- Remove screws (arrows).
- Keep double-clutch transmission (DCT) (1)completely
level while pulling it from flywheel.
- Slide the table top (B) in the arrow direction and disconnect the double-clutch transmission (DKG) (1) from the engine (2).
- Insert and position the special tool 2 459 012 on the cylinder head.
- Tighten the screws (1) of the special tool 2 459012. TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Special tool to cylinder head M8 Tightening torque 21.5 Nm - Hook the workshop crane with the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070)
and lift the engine (1) from the lifting table.
