Installing right output shaft at transmission end

With automatic transmission only:
Lever out the O-ring (1).
Replace O-ring (1).
Parts: O-ring
Insert the new O-ring (1).

Insert the installation protection ring (1) into the radial shaft seal.
Make sure the tool fits over the lip of the radial shaft seal to avoid damaging the sealing ring when inserting the output shaft.

Insert the output shaft (1) in the transmission.
Pull on the handle to remove the installation protection ring (2) and dispose of it.
Slide the output shaft (1) up to the stop in the transmission.
Check for secure seat by levering.

Tighten down screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Output shaft bearing to engine block
M10	Tightening torque	38 Nm
