Mount the exhaust system in a de-energized state, following the tightening sequence from the rear silencer towards the exhaust manifold.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR TUNNEL CONNECTING SUPPORT .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR LEFT TORSION STRUT .

Component with heavy weight.

- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Version 1 (Ribbon clamp)
Detach the ribbon clamp (1) .
- Version 2 (V-band clamp)
Unfasten clamp (1) .
- Pull exhaust system (1)
out of rubber mount (2)
.
- Detach rubber mount (1) of exhaust system.
- Lower, guide out and remove the exhaust system with the assistance of a second person.
