Removing the radial shaft seal on the differential (manual transmission)

CAUTION: Materials harmful to health.
Contact with fluids harmful to health!

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the transmission.
Damage to the transmission due to unapproved transmission oil.

Prepare special tool 0 496 698 (23 0 120).
The distance (1) must be < 1 mm.

Insert the special tool 0 496 698 (23 0 120) into the radial shaft seal (1) to the stop.
Spread the clips by turning the nut (2) .
Screw in the bolt (3) and pull off the radial shaft seal.
