33 32 006 Replace the left or right trailing arm bearing support (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove TRAILING ARM .

Removal: 

Slacken nut (1).

Pull out screw.

Remove the trailing arm bearing support (2).

Installation: 

Position the trailing arm bearing support (2).

Part:  Replace nut (1).

Insert bolt and screw on nut (1).

Adjust the trailing arm bearing support to dimension A in relation to the trailing arm.

• Dimension A = 18 mm (± 3 mm)

Tighten nut (1).

Tightening torque 33 32 4AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Installing the TRAILING ARM .
• Carry out wheel alignment procedure. Refer to 32 00 150 KDS CHASSIS/WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH VEHICLE LOAD UP TO DESIGN POSITION or 32 00 155 KINEMATICS DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM WHEEL ALIGNMENT WITH RIDE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT WITHOUT LOADING THE VEHICLE .
