Removing the vibration damper
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING INTAKE PORT .
- Refer to REMOVING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Refer to REMOVING CROSS CONNECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT RIGHT WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING DRIVE BELT .
- Unscrew the transmission bolts (1).
- Feed out protective cap (2) and remove.
- Prepare special tool 0 493 587 (11 8 180) .
- Secure special tool 0 493 587 (11 8 180) with the transmission bolts.
- Slide the special tool 2 288 159 into the transmission housing and fix the flywheel.
- Tighten down all screws.
- Remove screws (arrows).
- Feed out vibration damper (1) and remove.
