(Removing heat shield at upper exhaust turbocharger)

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
If installed: Removing the differential pressure sensor with the pressure line
- Unlock the detents (1) carefully.
- Guide out and remove the cover (2).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Disconnect the pressure hose (2).
- Loosen screw (3).
- Feed out differential pressure sensor (4) and remove.
- Version A
Release the union nut (1) with special tool 5 A19 557 .
Feed the pressure hose (2) out of the holder (3) and remove.
- Version B
Release the union nut (1) with special tool 5 A19 557 .
Feed the pressure hose (2) out of the holder (3) and remove.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Feed out coolant line (2) from the holder (3) and place to one side.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Feed out and remove the heat shield (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Feed out heat shield (2) on the exhaust turbocharger at the top and remove.
