Removing clean air pipe
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT AND RIGHT WIPER ARM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR HOOD SEAL .
- Refer to REMOVING LEFT WINDSHIELD PANEL COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT WINDSHIELD PANEL COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING BATTERY COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SECOND FIREWALL AT TOP .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
WARNING:

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
- Tighten clamp (1) on clean air pipe.
- Pull clean air pipe off from intake filter housing.
- Unlock and disconnect the engine ventilation line (1) from the clean air pipe.
- Unlock and disconnect the engine ventilation line (2) from the cylinder head cover.
- Loosen screw (3)
.
- Unlock and release the clamp (1)
on the clean air pipe (2)
.
- Raise the clean air pipe (1) slightly.
- Unlock and loosen connector (2) .
- Loosen clamp (3) .
- Feed out clean air pipe and remove (1) .
