- Adhere to the utmost cleanliness.
- Protect components from contamination e.g. by covering.
- Close off line connections with seal plugs.

The sealing surfaces must be free of oil, grease and cleaning agents.

- Feed in and install high pressure pump (2) .
- Replace screws (1)

Compliance with the specification is imperative to make sure that the piston will not break due to twisting. - Position the screws (1)
of the high pressure pump (2)
and tighten in alternating order
in 90°
increments.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS
High pressure pump to high pressure pump flange M6x25
Replace screws.Joining torque 12 Nm Angle of rotation 90° - Guide the special tool 2 413 106 out and remove.
- Guide the fuel delivery line (2) in and install.
- Make sure that the rubber damper (3) is positioned correctly.
- Tighten union nut (1) .
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONS
