Necessary preliminary work
- Remove hood hinge. Refer to 41 61 563 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING THE LEFT HOOD HINGE (HOOD REMOVED) REP-REP-RAF5641-4161060 - V.6 (Cooper 4-door hatchback and 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023) .
Open and close hinge (1).
Visual inspection for damage.
