35 11 000 Removing and installing complete bearing bracket for foot pedal (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed:

Read and comply with GENERAL INFORMATION .
Remove BRAKE BOOSTER .

Disconnect plug connection (1) on clutch master cylinder.

Disconnect line connection (2).

IMPORTANT: Catch brake fluid in a suitable container.

Disconnect plug connection (1) on brake light switch.

Undo nut (2) and remove bearing bracket (3).

NOTE: Tightening torque 35 11 1AZ .

Installation:

IMPORTANT: If required the clutch pedal must be remounted depending on the version of the new bearing block!
This operation is described in: REMOVING and installing clutch pedal

Install bearing bracket (3).

Fit nut (2) and tighten.

Replace self-locking nuts.

Parts: Nut

Tightening torque 35 11 1AZ .

Connect plug connection (1) on brake light switch.
