Checking transmission oil (AISIN GA8G45)

- Note and follow safety instructions on containers.
- Conduct all work in appropriate personal protective equipment only.
- Shift selector lever to "P" position.
- The vehicle must be horizontal and secured against rolling off.
- Connect diagnostic system.
- Release oil filler plug (1)
with Torx T55.
- Open the oil filler plug (1) .
- Slacken the banjo bolt (2) .
- Start the engine and let it idle until the transmission oil temperature is between 35°C and 45°C.
- Unscrew the banjo bolt (2) .
- Check if the automatic transmission fluid on banjo bolt (2) exit.
- If not, top up automatic transmission oil at oil filler plug (1) .
- Add automatic transmission fluid at the banjo bolt (2) until it overflows.
- Actuate foot brake and at idle shift through all gears "P" to "D" twice for more than 2 seconds.
- Shift switch to "P" position.
- Check oil level again.
- Replace the sealing ring.
