New release tools for electrical contacts MINI

Situation:  New contacts and housing are introduced in the MINI with the launch of the N12 and N14 engines. New release tools are needed to release these contacts professionally and without causing damage. The new release tools fully satisfy all specifications of the contact and housing manufacturers.

The new release tools are supplied as a set. They are stored in the special tools case 61 1 150 (for old version until 09/2005) or in the new special tools case 61 0 300 (from 09/2005).

Procedure:  Release tools are part of the minimum requirement of special tools and are sent to every MINI authorized dealer with a tools agreement.
