Installing the left or right C-pillar trim panel

WARNING: Airbag unit.
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Installing C-pillar trim panel (2).
Tighten screw on the C-pillar trim panel (2).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Body pillar trim

2.5Nm
Mount the cover (1).
Make sure the C-pillar trim panel (2) is correctly positioned at all adjacent parts.
