62 30 010 Removing and installing head-up display (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Attention! 

OBSERVE THE INFORMATION ON PROTECTION FROM ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE .

Attention! 

COMPLY WITH NOTES ON HANDLING OPTICAL FIBERS .

Risk of damage!

Do not hold the Head-Up Display by the heat sink.

If possible, do not touch the sound insulation on the Head-Up Display.

Do not touch the glass pane of the Head-Up Display if possible.

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM .

Removal: 

Loosen screws.

Carefully feed Head-Up Display (1) out of support (2) towards top.

Unlock connector (1) on underside of head-up display (2) and disconnect.

Remove head-up display (2).

Installation: 

Connect connector (1) on underside of head-up display (2).

Join Head-Up Display (1) with support (2).

Tighten the screws.

Tightening torque 62 30 1AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Install INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM .
