Remove front door trim panel
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Unclip the cover (1) using a suitable plastic wedge.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Detach the door trim panel (1) using the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325)
from the clips (2) and the clamps (3).
- Detach the Bowden cable for the door opener (1) first on the counter support (2) and then the door lock (3).
- Detach the detents of the door wiring harness (1) from the door trim panel (2).
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connections of the door wiring harness (1) and remove the door trim panel (2).
