Necessary preliminary work 

• REMOVE left windshield panel cover.

Removal 

Remove water drain channel (1).

Release screws (1) and remove hinge.

Installation 

For replacement (US version only): 

Tighten the screw (1) on the hood hinge (2).

Tightening torque 41 61 4AZ .

Install hinge and tighten screws (1).

Tightening torque 41 61 2AZ .

Install the water drain channel (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• INSTALL left windshield panel cover.
• ADJUST  hinge together with engine compartment lid.
