52 26 202 Removing and installing/replacing the rear panel on the center rear seat backrest (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Removal: 

Lever out the rear panel (1) in the marked area using a suitable tool.

Loosen Velcro fastener (1) and lever out backrest cover in the direction of the arrow.

Lever out backrest cover (1) all around the backrest frame with a suitable tool.

Remove rear panel (1) from backrest.

Installation: 

NOTE: Rear panel must noticeably engage with the backrest frame (1).

Install rear panel (1) in backrest.

Press the welt of the backrest cover (1) into the frame starting from the top.

Attach backrest cover (1) in the direction of the arrow.

Position backrest cover and close Velcro fastener (1).

Press the welt of the backrest cover (1) into the frame in the marked area.
