Installing the selector lever

Clip connector (1) into plastic guide (2).

Ensure that wiring harness (1) is laid correctly in plastic guide (2).

Fit selector lever (1) on the gearshift rod in the arrow direction.
Align selector lever (1) in the driving direction by pressing on it lightly (until the anti-twist lock engages).
The selector lever must not lock in place with the gearshift rod yet.

Connect the connector with plastic guide (1) to the gearshift lug and lock it.

Press the plastic guide forwards into the upper 2 locks.
The detents must snap in audibly.

Carefully press down the selector lever (1) vertically.
The selector lever must engage on gearshift rod (2) audibly.

Push down retaining ring (1) until it engages.
